Haha yeah MTV star Lindsey Lohan is going to get it on with Herbie.

And I'd very much'd like to see Chris Cunningham or Michel Gondry on A Clockwork Orange. Emphasis on Chris Cunningham.

The reason why I stated Ikiru is because at it's heart it's a simple story that won't ever get old. Everyone wants to mean something before they die, right? The main character gets caught up in so called 'things' you're supposed to do when you want to feel alive. Like going out every night, singing and getting drunk. Dating a girl who is more alive than you are, and finally changing something within the boring system of... eh jobs.

I'll remake this movie when I'm 50 years old. And have lived. I want to think of other things than what Kurosawa did and want to make it a fast paced roller coaster ride.

While I actually enjoyed the film, I still think it wasted its potential. Lots of ethical dilemmas werent explored properbly - not to mention all the cruel things you could do to the kid, since hes "just a robot" - could have been a really edgy film. Would have loved to see Kubriks take on it

I thought she worked for Disney. The Parent Trap and Freaky Friday are both Disney and both are re-makes. Herbie is also a Disney property.

I think the upcoming Herbie film is a sequel, not a re-make.
